Amla Powder is a powder made from the fruit of the Amla tree. The fruit is dried and then ground into a fine powder. The most popular cultivable varieties of amla are Banarasi, NA 7, Krishna, Kanchan, Chakaiya, BSR 1. Amla is a subtropical plant and prefers dry climate. It is a hardy plant and can be grown in variable soil conditions.
